31May20 - I'm a Survivor

I saw Mr. Gonzague (my previous boss in Arabesque for nearly 12 years). 

We stopped by Spinney's in Khalidiya to buy pata as a gift for Jovi. 

Before we enter Spinneys, I thought I saw him from afar and true enough, it was Mr. Gonzague. 

I am the first one to say hello to him and he said that it's good that I am still here (in Abu Dhabi) and that I survived. I just smiled and told him that we are doing our best. I asked him how is he and everyone in Arabesque. 

I just send my regards to everybody and before we left Spinneys, said goodbye to him again. 

Boki was with me but he didn't say hello to Mr. Gonzague. Boki till felt that what they did to me was unfair. I told him it doesn't matter anymore, it's more than 2 years ago and in fact, Boki told me before that I can visit them and say thank you to them. 

For me, it is a sigh of relief since we parted bitterly when I left the company. 

I told Boki that I will survive everything as long as we are together. 

Thank You List: 

1. I woke up early today. I was not able to sleep after Boki left for office. 

I decided to eat the leftover laing + rice + warm milk tea. 

2. At around 10:00 AM, Boki arrived. Their new office is not yet ready so Mr. Fahd asked him to work from home today. I was happy because I can spend more time with him at home eventhough he is too loud at times shouting at his colleague and forwarder. 

3. I was not able to eat lunch with Boki as I am still full from the heavy breakfast in the morning. I had late lunch in the afternoon: beef tapa + leftover laing + fried egg. 

4. We went out to pay the rent in the office of Mr. Ahmad. 

5. I greeted Okme with a personalized photo of us during my 18th birthday. Okme was still very young and chubby. 

6. Our neighbor in Northville, Kuya Arnold, sent me a message saying that there was a relief pack from Gov. Daniel Fernando and he left it on our door. I thanked him for his concern to Archie. 

7. I photoshopped Jovi to Michelle Rodriguez of Fast and the Furious. It was Jovi's birthday on June 1.

8. I am thankful because I was able to complete my 1 month journal for May 2020. I am planning to continue this.
