It's Tita Myrah's 62nd birthday today. She is the eldest sister of Mama and basically she was like their mother since Lola Zena passed away when they are still young.
My fond memory of Tita Myrah was when we vacationed in Laguna when Archie and I were still young...maybe when we were around 5-8 years old.
Mama will take us to her and spend some of our summer vacation in her shop.
Tita Myrah is genuinely generous and spoilers of her nephews and nieces.
She would give us coke in feeding bottles, feed us Jollibee, buy me Barbie clothes from baratillos, watch 2 movies in a row and go up and down an escalator till we get dizzy.
Another special memory I have of her was when I got the highest honor when I was in grade 5. She bought us our first colored T.V. as a gift.
And when mama was seriously ill, she paid for the remaining balance of our Northville house and lot which came from her time deposit (it was around 90k pesos).
I thank God for her life and the lives she touched with her kindness.
Thank You List:
1. I wake up early today and Boki didn't go to office. We had heart-to-heart talk last night about life, about the people around us and questioning God why there are people who are suffering. We also pray that God will bless us more so we can be blessing to others.
2. We ate ginisang munggo + lechong kawali for lunch.
3. I spent most of my day working on Tita Myrah's video presentation.
4. There was a new job opportunity for Boki...Eric called him as their previous colleague was looking for Warehouse and Logistics Manager. Boki already sent his application. We are praying that he will be accepted and this will be our answered prayer.
5. Boki and I went to Lulu Khalidiya to buy steak.
6. For dinner, we ate kalderetang manok but I only eat bread.
